Endless Knot
The Endless Knot was designed specifically for the 2009 Toorak Sculpture Festival www.tooraksculpture.com.au This annual festival is held in the Toorak Village each May where works of large scale outdoor art dominate the upmarket streetscape. This piece is part of a three part series called the 'Reform Series'.
Crafted from stainless steel and Corten, this piece stems from Chris' ongoing fascination with the repetition of shapes.

Seen here during production in our previous studio at Abbotsford, the Endless Knot provided a few challenges when it came to welding.

Including a Corten plinth (pictured here) this piece measures H2200 x W 1000 x D 500mm.

The Endless Knot was exhibited at the 2009 Tesselaar Tulip Festival, held annually in the gorgeous surrounds of Silvan, Victoria.
